Investigation of the feminist art movement of the 1970s to the present, as well as contemporary artwork by women artists. Readings and lectures focus on feminist approaches to gender, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, and colonialism. This course also counts toward the GSS major. Alternate years. No alternative grade option. [AH]

Prerequisite: Any writing designated course or GSS 171.
